Product Features:

• Amplify Mode with Adjustable Volume: Amplifies up to 50X with continuously-adjustable Volume Control to set the desired augmentation for each patient. Increase Volume for faint heart sounds, obese patients or noisy environments. Use moderate Volume for children with loud heart sounds.
• Acoustic Mode: Electronically provides the sound of a conventional stethoscope without the sound losses of air tubing. Provides a painless transition from old stethoscope technology - just click over to Acoustic mode, and listen to a crystal-clear electronic version of a conventional stethoscope.
• Bell/Diaphragm Modes: Provides frequency response for cardiac (low frequency murmurs, S3, S4) and pulmonary (higher frequency) examination. Instantaneous electronic switching without removing and flipping the chestpiece.
• Ambient Noise Rejection, 2nd-Generation (ANR2): Activate noise rejection in high-noise environments, or deactivate in quiet office settings.
• Natural Sound: Thinklabs patented Electromagnetic Diaphragm (EmD) provides the natural sound of your stethoscope by using an actual diaphragm as an electronic sensor. The diaphragm is tunable so you can simply change pressure to change sensitivity and frequency response, providing a very tactile sense to your auscultation.
• Mute: When patients chat, cough or cry, simply mute the sound until you're ready to listen. An example of the details that make the ds32a luxurious to use.
• Programmable Preferences: Preset the ds32a to your preferred auto shut-off time (2-5 minutes) and favorite operating modes. Your ds32a learns to follow your workflow.
• Eartips and Headphone Comfort: Soft hypo-allergenic (Latex-free) silicone eartips provide superb comfort. The headphone spring provides a lighter force - the sound is so clear, excess pressure is simply unnecessary.
• Long Battery Life: 2xAAA batteries provide many months of use. A low battery warning provides battery life warning well ahead of time.
• Audio Input/Output: Connect your stethoscope to your iPod or mp3 or notebook for recording, and listen to heart sounds on your stethoscope for accurate audio reproduction. Cables included.
• Light Weight Construction: Light-weight Aluminum alloy, stainless steel and advanced polymer technology facilitate light weight and high strength construction.
