Developed at the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering (BIME), this unique desk clamp has been designed for children and adults with the use of only one functional hand.
By using a simple spring mechanism this device needs very little effort to securely clamp papers to a desk, or sloping writing board, allowing the user to write or draw with confidence. The clamp can be used equally well for keeping books or worksheets in place. Constructed of steel for durability, the clamp is light (just 130g) and easily portable.
