Description
The MedGyn Pipette allows for a simple and quick way to obtain reliable endometrial tissue samples in an outpatient or office setting combining a semi-rigid, tapered cannula for easier insertion that is flexible enough to facilitate tissue from all areas of endometrium(especially in the mal-positioned uterus), with a tip design that minimizes risk of perforation. It is designed for minimal trauma to the patient, and is effective without the need for manual dilation of the cervix. It is used to obtain an endometrial sample for histopathological diagnosis of endometrial neoplasia or to monitor endometrial changes secondary to hormonal administration.
