Features of the VWR Air-Jacketed CO2 Incubators:
Ideal for busy laboratories where contamination concerns and ease of cleaning are important factors. These low-maintenance incubators employ advanced, air-jacketed temperature control technology to ensure an optimal and stable growing environment for cell and tissue cultures. A unique panless humidity water reservoir protects cultures from drying out and improves recovery characteristics and cell growth. Internal shelves and supports are easily installed and removed without tools. Easy-to-use interface panel features separate large LED displays for temperature and CO2 parameters and convenient, touch-sensitive membrane controls that provide the status of incubator functions.
Incubators are available with thermal conductivity (TC) or infrared (IR) sensor-based CO2 control. An optional 90°C (194°F) moist heat, high-temperature decontamination cycle offers total contamination control for the entire chamber without requiring the removal of sensors, fittings, or shelves. Some models feature a convenient, dual-stacked configuration (two chambers), maximizing capacity while minimizing floorspace. Dual-stacked models include a mobile support stand. For busy labs with greater throughput requirements, a large 240L (8.5cu. ft.) capacity unit is available. These units are readily stackable without tools or additional hardware.
