- Helps wounds that have stalled under first-line treatment to progress towards healing
- Maintains a moist environment conducive to wound healing and assists in autolytic debridement
- High osmotic potential and low pH
- Contains 80% Active Leptospermum Honey
- Honeycolloid pad forms a gel as it warms up with body temperature and as it comes into contact with wound fluid
- Is not occlusive and requires a secondary dressing to hold in place
- Can be used similarly to an alginate or a hydrocolloid paste to either cover or fill a partial-to-full thickness wound
